研究生 Application Deadlines

Three graduate programs are offered with deadlines for fall semester admittance and two for the spring and summer. Meeting the early application deadline ensures you will receive your admission decision early and have the $50 application fee waived. To confirm your place be sure to apply by the final application deadline.

How to 应用 and Application Requirements 

1. Online Application
Create and validate your account, then begin the application. Note t在这里 is a $50 application fee to apply (waived if you apply by the priority application deadline).

2. 文章
Use the essay/personal statement to describe your background and interests and to explain why you wish to pursue your respective program. Please include some information on your post-graduation goals.

*注意: Students applying for the Master of 艺术s in Counseling have a separate essay prompt, which can be found 在这里.

3. Submit Your Official Transcripts
Please send transcripts after submitting your application. 学校 can send transcripts electronically to 建.admit@elahomecollection.com or via mail to:

4. 重新开始 
Provide a professional and detailed work history. 重新开始s can be emailed to 建.admit@elahomecollection.com. Please include your name in the subject line and submit it using the email address you used to apply to the university.

5. International Students
Foreign applicants are required to submit scores from the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) to demonstrate proficiency in English sufficient to successfully complete the program.

For students who received instruction in a language other than English, TOEFL or IELTS exam scores, and transcripts submitted through a Foreign Credential Evaluation Service — such as AACRAO, Foreign Credentials Service of America or WES (World Education Services, 公司.) — are required.

Additional Requirements for the Online Doctorate of Education (Ed.D.) of Leadership & Higher Education

Two letters of recommendation: The applicant must submit two (2) letters of recommendation from professional references to the Office of Admission. It is advised that these letters address academic prowess, professionalism, leadership, and research/writing skills. These letters must be from professionals who have worked with the applicant within the last three years and are not family or friends.

A writing sample: The applicant is to submit a 6-8 page academic paper on one of the following topics:

  • Current issues in post-baccalaureate higher education leadership
  • Current issues in leadership and change in a diverse world
  • Challenges and solutions to leading future leaders
  • Using social justice as the means by which to lead

Additional Requirements for the Online Master of Science in Accounting Analytics

Prior coursework: All applicants must have completed ACCT 2301 (Principles of Accounting I), and ACCT 2303 (Principles of Accounting II), or the equivalents, with grades of C or better, prior to enrollment to the MSAA program.

Prerequisites: Students in this program without an undergraduate degree in Accounting will be required to complete the following additional undergraduate-level Accounting coursework in order to satisfy prerequisite requirements: Intermediate Accounting I and II, Federal Taxation of Individuals, and Auditing. 

The Texas State Board of Public Accountancy also requires 24 hours of business courses other than in Accounting in order to sit for the CPA exam (visit their website for additional information).
